The words he had just said really didn't mean anything to him, he knew that they were lies dripping with venomous poison. That poison was the want to be with the woman he truly loved, but he covered up the poison with sickeningly sweet words that almost taste like pure sweet honey. Untouched by the world's impurities, honey was truly one of the sweetest things in the world. He stares into her sharp emerald eyes searching for a sign that she had been fooled by his words, she smiles slightly squeezing his hand. "Alright my dear, I was only making sure. It would be a shame if that woman had to die because you fell in love with her, because of this scare I would like to push our wedding forward." He feels a sickening feeling bubble up inside him at her suggestion, no it wasn't a suggestion.  It was a command, she commanded him to marry her sooner. It may not seem like it to an outsider, but to him, her ways are cut as crystal clear ice. He nods solemnly looking away from her "the night after the next full moon, that is when we will be wed" She smiles at him nodding softly putting her hand against his cheek lightly.

"No more hunting while I am gone, I do not want to hear of you being in those woods again Papyrus." He nods his head in acceptance then returns to his place at the dinner table to eat, soon his brother enters the dining room smiling "Ah Arial, it is good to see you. You look quite lovely today, doesn't she look beautiful brother?" He turns to him causing him to look up from his plate of food "she looks as beautiful as a painting" Inside his head, the words ring out 'as beautiful as a painting of a horse's rear end...' he sighs slightly. His brother tilts his head slightly in confusion at the compliment then makes his way over to the table sitting down, she turns to him giving a warm smile "Yes it has been a long while has it not Sans? Have you found a bride of your own, or are you still searching for one?" He laughs slightly at her question "Mwehehehe, I will find someone as great as I soon. But as of now, no I do not have a bride" She leans back a bit in her chair examining him from across the table, she sighs slightly and his brother notices this "it is a lovely day outside is it not? The flowers are in full bloom, the birds are singing beautiful tunes and fresh dew from the spring rain lays softly across the earth"

She smiles softly at him chuckling lightly"Yes I do suppose it is a nice day Sans but, I cannot help but feel some sort of uneasiness. Do you know anything about this woman in the woods your brother met last evening?" He tenses up a bit smiling and chuckling a bit, he looks over at his brother from the corner of his eye. "I know nothing of this maiden from the forest, He only told me she is out there and what she looks like." she turns to look at him glaring him down slightly "Oh is that so, I'd love to hear what he said she looks like" He places his fingers along the side of his face humming in thought "He said she has (h/c) (h/l) hair with (e/c) eyes and (s/c) skin. She is the first human other than our maid's and butler's he has seen in a very long time I suppose he was just a bit curious about her, everyone gets curious from time to time including you" He smiles slightly causing him to raise his head raising an invisible eyebrow "Arial my sweet, how has your father been?" She sighs softly picking up her glass of wine holding it to her face in silence causing him to frown slightly "I see...I am sorry for your loss Arial, your father was a good man" She nods slightly rising from her chair walking over to the castle window unlatching it, she slowly pushes the window open to see the raindrops falling outside. "He got sick so suddenly, I do wish he is with mother now. That is part of the reason I came here today, I wanted to tell you he was gone myself"

He taps his finger tips on the table gently watching her movements carefully"I see, but what is the other reason Arial? You're not one for meaningless visits, is there something else I must know of?" She gently shakes her head placing her elbows on the windowsill leaning out just enough to feel the cold wet rain in front of her face, He finishes his dinner then rises from his chair walking over to the main door. "I have paperwork I must attend to, I will speak to you later Arial" She turns back to him smiling when a bolt of lightning flashes and wind gusts in blowing out the candles making the flash of light the only source of light. Her silhouette flashes for a few seconds, only one of her emerald eyes is visible and something in it bleeds terror. He stares in shock at what he had just seen, quickly he turns walking out of the room towards his study. He enters his study focusing on the piles of paperwork that piled up over the past week, determined just to finish it all. He ends up staying in his study for weeks until he finally finished his work. He stands up from his desk walking out he notices it is sunset. As he walks through the halls he hears a maid talking "Did you hear about the beast in the forest? Another person was murdered by them, a young woman this time"

He felt his body go cold at the maid's words, he walks around the corner to face the two maids who had been talking "S-Sir Papyrus, good evening your majesty." They bow to him, they notice his piercing eyes and they freeze in place "The woman who died, what did she look like?" the maid's look at each other for a second before one of them speaks up "A young woman with (h/c) (h/l) hair, her face was too mauled to see what her eye color was though" He felt like he was about to puke, he swallows it back down and marches past the maid's freezing for just a moment. "you two, go clean my study." they nod and run off, he rushes to his room running to the balcony to look over at the forest. He felt cold and numb, the only feeling other than sadness was anger at the beast who killed the poor woman whom he loved. "I will slay that beast if it is the last thing I do, I will avenge you my dear love" The repugnant feeling deep inside him slowly consumes his body so he falls into a broken mess on the floor, he clings to the railing sobbing intensely when his brother walks up behind him. "Brother?" He refuses to look at him as the orange tears stain his pure white bones, He walks around him to see his face.

"Why are you crying Papyrus, what is wrong? Did something happen to you?" He kneels down next to him putting his hands on his shoulder's, he jumps forward hugging onto him clawing into his back slightly. "She's dead, a beast in the forest killed her while I was in my study doing my work. I cannot believe she was killed, I wanted to see her one last time before I got married..." He pulls away from him frowning slightly "It's better this way brother, she's in a better place don't worry" He stands up and his eye lights up fiery orange, the intense animosity flowing through him fuels him to murder that beast. "The day before the next full moon I will hunt that creature down and slay it myself." Seeing the pure rage in his eyes he freezes in fear, he looks away quickly surprised by the pure rage burning through his brother. "Papyrus, you shouldn't go after that beast you could get killed" He glares down at him, quickly he shuts his mouth "I have to brother, to avenge the woman I loved so dearly" taking a deep breath sighing the fire in his eye slowly calms down, his brother stands up looking out to the forest with him.

"Was she truly that beautiful for you to want to chase down a beast and risk your own life just to avenge her?" He sits in silence for a moment before leaning against the railing himself watching the forest "It wasn't just her beauty that got me, the haunting song she sang broke my heart. She seems so lonely like reality shunned her away. I wanted to know why she was so hurt, I wanted to see her smile for once oh how I longed to see a smile on her beautiful face." he looks down at his hands in pain, his brother turns looking to him looking in shock "You really were in love with her weren't you brother?" He starts laughing and tears drip down his face a little bit "Yes I did, you may not believe in love at first sight brother, but I truly did" He puts his head down on the railing "she was my beautiful snowdrop and I never got to be close to her" Slowly he stands up again wiping his tears away. "Brother, what is Arial going to say when she finds out you went to the forest despite her asking you not to" He hisses a bit in anger slamming his hands on the railing "I DO NOT CARE WHAT SHE HAS TO SAY WITH THE MATTER, I MUST AVENGE HER NO MATTER WHAT"

He swiftly turns around exiting his bedroom, he see's his bride to be standing at the end of the hall smiling and waving to him causing him to sigh. Turning away from her he walks down the halls towards his study again, she quickly follows him grabbing onto his arm. "Dear, what is wrong? where are you going?" He turns to her pulling his arm away sighing softly "I am not in the mood, dear. I am going to my study" She looks at him completely shocked at the outburst he had at her "What is going on dear, I am completely shocked at this sudden rudeness" He looks over his shoulder at her sighing slightly unsure of what to say to her, what would a good excuse be "I am just stressed with all the paperwork I have to do, there is so much of it that I've been in my study for weeks" She sighs sadly kissing his cheek gently and he recoils in repulse "Try not to over work yourself, dear we don't want you dying before our wedding now do we?" He Nods in agreement then retreats into his study once more shutting everyone else out, He smashes his hands on the desk howling out in anger.

After three days, he finally exits his study in the late of night, walking through the halls he notices his bride sitting asleep at the table in the dining room. He quickly passes her grabbing a cloak putting it on making his way down to the stables he places his saddle onto his horse hopping on top of it, Riding out of the castle through the town towards the forest in the distance "I will kill them don't worry, my love. I will avenge you, you didn't deserve to meet such a horrible fate" Slowly the sky fills with hues of orange pink and yellow signaling sunrise, he enters the forest prepared to kill the beast. Hopping off his horse he looks around for clues on where this beast is, he notices huge claw marks on the side of a tree along with blood stains. sitting on the muddy ground is the cloth of a dress. He picks it up clutching it close to him examining it, he sees that it is the same material as your dress. Seeing the huge paw marks behind the tree he hops onto his horse once more following the trail before it went cold. "what matter of beast is this creature? Those claw marks are huge, this might be more difficult than I thought" He looks around him as his horse trots slowly through the forest going deeper and deeper into the darkness.

He summons a large bone holding it close to him he looks around at the thick brushes, suddenly he see's something huge out of the corner of his eyes. Quickly he threw his bone fast, in response he heard the loud howl of a creature and the sound of running. "The chase begins now" He turns his horse kicking its side causing it to start running after the creature fast, the creature he was chasing looked like a huge wolf but had the piercing yellow eyes of a cat, a long black tail with blood stains covering its dark gray fur. Its ears are pointy and large with nic's and slashes in the side of it, over its right eye is a scar where the beast had clearly been struck before. Its gray fur slowly fades into black its muzzle, paws, tail and ears. soft white patches of fur are all over its back, its belly and chest is white like snow but now it is stained red with its own blood. In its right shoulder sits the bone he had thrown at it before, any other creature would have been unable to run after having a bone through its shoulder but this creature somehow pushed through the intense pain and keeps going. "GIVE UP NOW BEAST, I WILL KILL YOU EVENTUALLY FOR SLAYING THE BEAUTIFUL MAIDEN I HAD FALLEN IN LOVE WITH!" He throws another bone piercing its hip, It cries out loudly falling for a second before pushing itself back up again.

"YOU SHALL FALL BEAST!" The beast turns around and runs straight for him knocking him off his horse biting into his shoulder, He hisses in pain kicking the beast off top of him. Soon rain comes pouring from the sky soaking him and the beast, It snarls and barks at him loudly. Jumping forward he punches the beast across the face, It growl's turning around biting onto him. He stabs the creature with another bone, It pull's away and turns running as fast as it can. He chases the beast for hours hitting it over and over, the suns hue's slowly turning pink as he chases the beast. He notices the beast fall to the ground, quickly he hops off his horse walking over to the beast pointing a bone at it "Finally I have caught you, now you die" His piercing eyes read nothing but rage towards the beast laying in pain underneath him, it whimpers and howls trying to clawing itself away from him. He feels tears trickling down his face dripping onto the beast below him, he had finally caught the beast he longed to kill but it wouldn't bring her back from the dead. This beasts death is the least he could to bring himself some sort of closure, the beast looks up at him in agony. Its howls and whimpers in pain are haunting and heartbreaking just like the song that she had sung that night when he had seen her, raising his bone up he hisses slightly "Goodbye beast" He swings forward to strike the beast in the heart.
